Cookie Policy

Last updated: February 24, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Pryvii ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website. It describes what these technologies are, why we use them, and your rights to control our use of them. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to site operators. We also use localStorage, a browser feature that allows websites to store data locally on your device. Unlike cookies, localStorage data is not sent to the server with each request — it stays on your device and is only accessed by our website. First-party technologies are set by us (pryvii.com). Third-party technologies are set by external services we use.

2. Cookies and Storage We Use

Strictly Necessary (always active) These are essential for the website to function. You cannot opt out of these. • pryvii_consent (cookie, 365 days) — Stores your cookie consent preferences: which categories you accepted, the timestamp, and the consent version. This is required to remember your choices. • pryvii-auth (localStorage, until logout) — Stores your authentication tokens for your logged-in session. Without this, you would need to log in on every page. • pryvii-organization (localStorage, persistent) — Stores your organization or team data for the dashboard. Cleared when you switch organizations or log out. • pryvii-a11y (localStorage, persistent) — Stores your accessibility preference (high contrast mode). Set only if you enable it. Analytics (opt-in only) These are only activated if you consent to analytics cookies via our consent banner. • Sentry — We use Sentry for error monitoring and performance tracking. Sentry helps us identify and fix bugs. It may collect error details, browser information, and page URLs where errors occur. Sentry is completely disabled unless you opt in. If you later withdraw consent, Sentry is immediately deactivated. Marketing We do not currently use any marketing cookies, tracking pixels, advertising technologies, or cross-site tracking. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and request your consent before activating any marketing technologies. Functional No functional cookies are currently active. This category is reserved for future enhanced features such as personalization preferences.

3. Third-Party Services

Our website uses a small number of third-party services: • Google Fonts — We load typefaces (Syne, Outfit, IBM Plex Mono) from Google's font service. This does not set cookies, but your browser makes requests to Google's servers to download the font files. Google's privacy policy applies to this data. • Stripe — If you visit our billing or payment pages, Stripe (our payment processor) may set its own cookies to process payments securely and prevent fraud. These are only active on payment pages. See Stripe's cookie policy for details. • Sentry — As described above, Sentry is only active with your analytics consent. See Sentry's privacy policy for details on their data handling. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party analytics or advertising services.

4. How to Manage Your Cookies

Consent banner — When you first visit our site, a consent banner appears where you can choose which cookie categories to accept or reject. Cookie Preferences — You can change your consent at any time by clicking "Cookie Preferences" in the footer of any page. This reopens the consent banner. Browser settings — Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the website from functioning properly. Privacy signals — We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and Do Not Track (DNT) signal. When we detect either signal from your browser, all non-necessary cookies are automatically rejected without showing the consent banner. Withdrawing consent — If you withdraw consent for analytics cookies, Sentry is immediately deactivated and will not collect any further data. Previously collected error data is subject to Sentry's own retention policy (typically 30 days).

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you have specific rights regarding cookies and tracking: EU/EEA (GDPR) — You have the right to consent to or refuse non-essential cookies. We will not set analytics or marketing cookies without your explicit opt-in. You can withdraw consent at any time. California (CCPA) — You have the right to know what personal information is collected through cookies and to opt out. We do not sell personal information collected via cookies. We do not use cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising. Canada (PIPEDA) — You have the right to know about our cookie practices, to withdraw consent, and to access information about what data we collect. We obtain meaningful consent before using non-essential cookies. For full details on your privacy rights, please see our Privacy Policy.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, regulatory, or operational reasons. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
